attentive staff is dedicated to meeting your cosmetic and/or functional
needs.Depending on your procedure, Dr. Guida can perform your operation at various locations. The Midtown Surgery Center (www.midtownsurgery.com) is a state-certified Ambulatory Surgery Center that caters to patients having a procedure that does not require an overnight stay, in a relaxing, calm, and private environment. Additionally, our AAAHC certified office, operating and recovery rooms provide the utmost in personal attention and privacy. The staff at both locations includes board certified anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and operating room technicians who have extensive operating and recovery room experience. In addition, Dr. Guida has privileges and operates at the New York – Presbyterian Hospital (where he was the Director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery division from 1992 to 1999 and is currently a clinical associate professor), Lenox Hill Hospital, and Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. Whichever location you choose, e you will receive the highest quality individualized care and privacy. Dr. Guida has extensive training in both functional and cosmetic nose surgery. He is highly skilled in the surgical treatment of all aspects of nasal sinus disease, functional nasal problems, and any cosmetic concerns of the nose, including rhinoplasty (both primary and revisions). Dr. Guida’s surgical expertise also includes cosmetic face and neck lifts; eyelid and brow lift surgery; cosmetic lip and chin augmentation; ear surgery; tumescent body liposuction with liposculpting; and facial implantology. Dr. Guida has in-depth experience in reconstructive surgery following removal of facial tumors from Mohs’ surgery for skin cancer, facial trauma, and scar revisions. Dr. Guida’s believes in a holistic approach to skin rejuvenation incorporating adjuncts to surgery utilizing BOTOX® as well as fillers such as Restylane®, Juvéderm®, and Radiesse®, and fat injections to help achieve a more youthful appearance. Dr. Guida also has over two decades of experience with a variety of lasers for the treatment of cosmetic skin concerns, including wrinkles, sun damage, age spots, acne scarring, leg veins and other vascular lesions, tattoo removal as well as laser hair removal for all skin types. Dr. Guida strongly believes that proper skincare maintenance and skin protection is the foundation of healthy and youthful skin. For that reason he has formulated a series of sunscreens and skincare products for his patients in order to maintain healthy skin for the years ahead. In addition, Dr. Guida has a strong background in using a variety of chemical peels that provide deeper resurfacing than home care products, but lighter than some laser treatments, offering a complete spectrum of skincare and skin resurfacing based on your individual needs |
